The Chinese media has recently reported on the medication Plavix, a cardiac medication widely used by cardiologists to treat coronary artery disease.  Although the report was correct in identifying that Chinese may be hypometabolizer of the medication, which means converting Plavix into an active form in a slower rate compared to non Chinese population, it has raised unnecessary panic in many Chinese patients taking the medication.....
